About the Process

Commissioning a custom piece is a collaborative and meaningful experience. Each piece is abstract, intuitively created, and inspired by what you share with me. Before we begin, we’ll connect — by phone, Zoom, or via email to discuss your ideas, size preferences, and the overall energy or story you’d like the piece to carry. Once we determine the general direction, I’ll provide a detailed quote based on size, materials, and estimated time.

 

Timeline

  • Most commissions take approximately 6–8 weeks to complete.

  • I’ll notify you when your project begins and provide an estimated completion date.

  • Progress updates are available (and often shared on social media stories unless you prefer otherwise).

 

Pricing & Payment

  • Once details are finalized, I’ll send a quote.

  • No deposit is required until we both confirm the project. Once project is confirmed, 50% deposit is required prior to starting your piece.

  • Payment is accepted offline via Zelle (preferred), Venmo, or cash.

  • Shipping costs are separate and discussed in advance.

 

Collaboration & Approval

  • Each piece is one-of-a-kind and intuitively developed.

  • I’ll send final photos upon completion before shipping (unless you’d rather be surprised).

  • Minor adjustments can sometimes be accommodated early in the process; however, commissions are guided more by shared inspiration than exact replication.

 

Shipping for Commissions

  • Commissioned originals ship via insured UPS or can be picked up locally.

  • For oversized work, we may coordinate with an art-handling company for secure transport.

 

Refunds & Cancellations

Because commissions are custom-made and created uniquely for you, all sales are final once work has begun.
